Old, traditional profession: carriage

In addition to logging and farming, the main occupation of the Csángo’s was carriage, and they carried the trade in and out Brașov, as far as Istanbul or Vienna.

They were famous in a far land, and when they passed through a village, people cried out: “The Csángók from Seven Villages are coming! It’s not okay to mess with them! ” The rugged carrier wagon, which was a two-tonne cargo, was 4 m long, pulled by six strong horses.
